1) …Ready For It – Reputation

Taylor Swift begins to reference her relationship with Joe Alwyn through the album Reputation. It was released in 2017 and in its track …Ready For It, the singer mentions wanting to take things slow so the relationship would last long. Additionally, Swift also left easter eggs for fans in the music video about Alwyn’s birthdate and name in Chinese characters.
2) End Game – Reputation

The next reference to the British actors appears in the song End Game from the same album. Taylor Swift mentions wanting to be someone’s end game, first string, and on his A-Team, which is allegedly about Alwyn. In the track Gorgeous from Reputation Taylor Swift once again references Joe Alwyn. She hints towards Met Gala 2016 when the couple met for the first time. Additionally, she describes the love interest as having ocean-blue eyes and an English accent. She also described the Met Gala meeting in her song Dress from the same album.
4) Call It What You Want – Reputation

Taylor gets a little more candid about her relationship in the track Call It What You Want from Reputation. She provides her fans a bit more closer look at her relationship with Joe Alwyn which she hints about throughout the whole album. Additionally, she mentions wanting to wear his initial around her neck and fans see her doing so in the End Game music video from the same album.

6) London Boy – Lover

Taylor Swift fans couldn’t be more sure that London Boy from her album Lover is referring to Joe Alwyn due to his British roots. Swift expresses her love for his smile, English accent, and dimples in this song. Fans also believe that songs, Daylight, Cornelia Streets, Paper Rings, I Think He Knows, and Cruel Summer from the same album also slightly refer to Joe Alwyn.
7) Peace – Folklore
“But there’s robbers to the east, clowns to the west / I’d give you my sunshine, give you my best / But the rain is always gonna come if you’re standing with me”
Taylor Swift’s Folklore album also refers to her relationship with Joe Alwyn. The singer mentioned in an interview with Rolling Stone that the Peace track is about her trials to find a balance between her public and private life as she was falling for Alwyn. Other tracks from the album such as Invisible Strings and The Lakes also seem to refer to Joe Alwyn.

8) Lavender Haze – Midnights

Taylor Swift revealed that she got the idea to write the song after watching the Lavender Haze reference as ‘being in love’ in Mad Men. She further said that it is similar to her relationship of six years, where the couple had to dodge rumors and ‘tabloid stuff.’ Her song Sweet Nothing from the same album also features Joe Alwyn as a co-writer under the alias of William Bowery.

The track All Of The Girls You Loved Before is a song from Taylor Swift’s 2019 album Lover. In the track, Swift allegedly thanks all the past love interests of Joe Alwyn for making him the man that made the singer fall for him.
