And though the premise seems to lack veracity, it quickly gets traction online, is reported by several news outlets, and quickly spreads like wildfire.
To add more fuel to the fire, a podcast site even posted a poll on X (formerly Twitter) about the rumors that Kevin is romancing Reese. “Do you love this new couple,” the poll asked. As of this writing, 61.2% said no, while 38.8% said yes.

To clear the issue, Reese’s rep told People, “This story is completely fabricated and not true.”
This isn’t the first time the newly divorced star has been linked to another celebrity. Just before the Kevin dating rumors emerged, she was rumored to be dating another divorced A-list celebrity, Tom Brady.
As the claim heightened, their reps denied the news that they were seeing each other. A source even said that they hadn’t even met one another personally.

“We have some personal news to share… It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the ex-couple wrote in a now-deleted statement posted on Instagram. “We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together.”
Despite the separation, a source told E! News that they were amicable, and no drama, event, or reason happened. By the looks of it, they were just two people who decided to call it quits while not forgetting their love and respect for each other, especially their love for their son, Tennessee, 11.

But Kevin’s divorce from Christine was quite tumultuous compared to Reese and Jim. The handbag designer, who owns the company Cat Bag Couture, filed for divorce from her husband of 18 years in May.
In a statement, the legendary actor’s spokesperson called this turn of events “circumstances beyond his control” that left him to “participate in a dissolution of marriage action.” “We ask that his, Christine’s and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time,” the rep continued.

However, after a tense court battle for four months, the exes finally ended up opting for an “amicable and mutually agreed up resolution” to end all the issues regarding their divorce proceedings in September.
Dating rumors have been quite common in Hollywood. However, it can’t be denied that the romantic claims about Reese Witherspoon and Kevin Costner surprise many.
