Apex Legends Mobile Now Available in Select Countries

Apex Legends Mobile’s limited regional launch is finally here. Starting March 8th, ten countries can download popular battle royale from the Google and App Store.

This limited regional launch will help the development teams test the game’s features before they can consider releasing it globally. Some of these features include the matchmaking systems, gameplay, and the in-game store. As development continues, Respawn will provide updates for players that are not part of the limited regional launch.

Apex Legends Mobile is a direct mobile port of the original Apex Legends.

Players can play battle royale on the classic World’s Edge map in this limited regional launch. They can also try out three game modes, Team Deathmatch, Mini Battle Royale, 3v3 Arenas, and compete in ranked battle royale matches.
Apex Legends Mobile is now downloadable for players in the following countries
  • Australia
  • New Zealand
  • Singapore
  • Malaysia
  • Philippines
  • Indonesia
  • Mexico
  • Peru
  • Argentina
  • Colombia

There will be no cross-play for Apex Legends Mobile.

Since Apex Legends Mobile is a standalone experience offering controls, content, social features, and game modes compliant with mobile play, there will be no cross-play with PC/console. Additionally, the playable Legends in the mobile game include Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, and Pathfinder. Players can unlock Caustic at Battle Pass level 25.

There will be an in-game store.

In the store, you’ll find tons of options, including limited-time-themed loot boxes, light crates, and Apex packs. The “For You” tab in the store also includes crafting options and purchasing custom cosmetic items. Players can also purchase a Premium or Premium Plus Battle Pass from the in-game store.
Players participating in the limited regional launch can access the store until May 3rd. Account progress and unlocked items earned during the limited regional launch period will be reset before game launch. All items purchased during this period will be converted to the in-game currency of equal value after the soft launch ends in May.

Players will be able to complete limited-time challenges and earn unique, limited rewards such as badges, weapon enchantments, and beta banner frames. After the soft launch, player progress will reset, but some rewards are carried over into the global launch.
