Andy Serkis’ Imaginarium Productions and South Korean Climax Studio reveal an exciting collaboration for a fantasy feature film. According to an exclusive report from Sedaily and Deadline, the film is titled The Monster Tale. Andy Serkis and Jonathan Cavendish will input their cinematic insights as executive producers along with Climax Studio’s founder Byun Seung-Min.
- Serkis and Cavendish co-created the Imaginarium Productions in 2011. Ever since they have produced a couple of films and high-end TV dramas. Their filmography includes Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle starring Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett, and the film Breathe starring Andrew Garfield. Their latest work was the Netflix series Half Bad: The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself released in the latter half of 2022.
- Talking about the exciting collaboration with Imaginarium production, Climax Studio’s founder Byun said, “I look forward to working together with The Imaginarium on this global production project,” Adding to that he expresses the strong belief that this is going to be one of the most exciting projects they have worked on.
- Climax Studio is on the rise with its successful productions in recent years. Which includes the massive Netflix original hit series DP and Hellbound of 2021. Andy Serkis’ The Monster Tale is a fantasy creature film that will focus on a clashing group of East Asian monsters. These monsters need to team up to defeat an impending invasion from a beast across the ocean in Europe. That’s just the basic outline of the project’s synopsis. - The film will feature Jason Kim also known as Kim Joo Hwan, as director and screenwriter. His famous works include The Divine Fury, Midnight Runners, and the Netflix series Bloodhounds.
