Wizards, are you ready to go flying around Hogwarts? One of the most anticipated games of 2023 dropped another thrilling video for everyone. An all-new gameplay trailer of Hogwarts Legacy keeps the fans anticipating more (and wanting more, yes). If you need a trailer breakdown, let us do the honors of listing it down for you. It looks like we’re in for loads of goodies in Hogwarts Legacy!
Hogwarts Legacy New Gameplay
Hogwarts Legacy’s release date has been pushed and adjusted to give the best gaming experiences to the players. Alongside this, the developers keep their audience hooked by handing out these gameplay showcases. We’ll give you the run-through with all the new features visible in the latest gameplay trailer.
Flight and Open-World
Aside from walking and running, of course, there is another way to make your way around Hogwarts. The first part of the gameplay covers the flight ability of the players’ characters. Feel free to fly using a broom or the hippogriff, then travel to other places even outside Hogwarts to search for quests!

- Additionally, the game is set to be in an open world. Flying and open-world sound an exciting pair when it comes to games. Are you ready to hop on your hippogriff and fly to see the beauty of Hogwarts?
Combat
Honestly, we didn’t expect we’d hear a killing spell right away. Hold and behold, in the gameplay, a student enters the Dark Arts Battle Arena. Here comes the part where we’re shocked, a student casually throws the killing curse Avada Kedavra to a man which then leads to his death. He can cast other combat spells, just like in the photo below. but the player immediately ended that enemy’s life.

- Okay, the thought of a Hogwarts student, around their teenage years, throwing a killing spell. It’s just that the HP books and films hold this curse – hmm, too heavy – by that we mean we may have heard or read it about a few times.
- Anyway, the Battle Arena can bring out the best combat spells and abilities of players. Everyone has access to them, so feel free to come by, but be sure not to throw the killing curse straight up (just like the student did in the gameplay!)
Room for Requirement
If you’re into interior design, and architecture, or simply enjoy designing and customization, then you’re in for a treat. The Room for Requirement lets you personalize the area, and make it your own. Change the architecture to your liking, Wizards!

- Obtainable conjuration spells that would help you customize the room. Take all your time to complete the room with the designs you love to see. Even the smallest things can be moved and customized, so craft the Room for Requirement in a way you can imagine a room that you’d actually stay in.
Hogwarts Legacy comes to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on February 10, 2023. For PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it drops on April 4th and July 25th for Nintendo Switch.
That’s actually all for now, Wizards. See you at the next gameplay showcase!
