Ever since the emergence of Archon Quest in Genshin Impact patch 3.0, fans have had their eyes glued to Alhaitham. MiHoyo officially released the character in the banner at patch 3.4 and players can’t get enough of this Dendro unit. Despite earning the reputation of a “Dendro Keqing,” the community soon realized his true potential to wreak havoc in the spiral abyss.
Alhaitham is a Dendro vision holder, who can be used in various team compositions. With a maxed out constellation, he is a top contender for the abyss speedruns. Building him is necessary as he is a powerhouse for constant elemental application and damage output. Here are the five best teams that make use of Alhaitham’s abilities to master anything in Genshin Impact.

Top 5 Dendro-reaction teams for Alhaitham in Genshin Impact
1) The Spread teamÂ

Alhaitham can dish out a lot of damage with his Chisel-Light Mirror stack, which makes him ideal for a spread composition. This reaction works by applying Dendro and Electro in no specific order to achieve Quicken and inflict more Dendro to deal spread damage.
For this specific team, it is ideal to run an additional Dendro user (with the Deepwood Memories artifact set) and an Electro character. Nahida is the best option for the second slot, followed by Traveler and Yaoyao.
Kuki Shinobu, Fischl, and Yae Miko are the Electro front runners in the composition for their passive Electro application. Beidou and Lisa are decent substitutes when built with sufficient energy recharge. Zhongli is a formidable unit in Genshin Impact and can fulfill the need of a tank in the fourth spot.
2) The Archon Spread teamÂ

Another strong lineup for Alhaitham spread team includes three Archons, which fuels pure ecstasy when it is deployed on the field. Raiden Shogun, Nahida, and Zhongli, with the Akademiyan Scribe in the party, invoke pure monstrosity with consistent damage numbers. Nahida provides Dendro resistance shred with the Deepwood artifact, while transferring elemental mastery to the active character.
Raiden benefits the team by applying Electro from her Eye of Stormy Judgement to help trigger the spread reaction. Zhongli ensures that everyone in the party stays alive without the need for a healer.
3) The Hyperbloom teamÂ

Hyperbloom reaction has earned a reputation in the Genshin Impact community of pulling easy damage numbers for a free-to-play (F2P) account. All it takes is a consistent Electro applicator with around 800 to 900 Elemental Mastery to trigger the end reaction.
The Alhaitham team consists a Hydro unit, preferably Xingqiu or Yelan along with Kuki Shinobu or Raiden Shogun for the electro need. He works as an on-field driver and Dendro applicator for the team. Both the hydro characters’ have expertise in off-field hydro application to create the green cores. The Electro unit should ideally be built with the Flower of Paradise Lost artifact to maximize the Hyperbloom damage from the cores.
4) The Bloom teamÂ

Assuming one has Nilou and Alhaitham in their Genshin Impact account, the Bloom team is a no-brainer. Nilou excels at pulling substantial AoE bloom damage with her Dreamy Dance of Aeons passive. Alhaitham has sufficient elemental application with all the mirror stacks allowing consistent bountiful cores on the field.
With someone like Yaoyao in the remaining slot, a large amount of self-inflicted damage from the reaction can be mitigated. Additionally, pair Nilou with another Hydro character to gain additional HP from the Hydro resistance. Xinqiu and Yelan contribute once again in their own ways by enabling flexibility in the abyss. The Bloom team demands a healer, and Kokomi is the best option when Nahida is utilized for double Dendro.
5) Alhaitham Keqing teamÂ

The last entry in this list is more about deviating away from the meta while maintaining the practicality of what a team should be. In all its glory, the Alhaitham and Keqing duo is an excellent option for a quick-swap Elemental Burst team. The Dendro and Electro burst creates a symphony of light show and deals sufficient damage.
The only issue with the team is that the Scribe of Sumeru Akademiya has a higher energy cost. In most cases, his burst might not be ready after every rotation, which is why building him with over 130% energy recharge is usually recommended. The empty slots demand beloved Lord Kusanali or Traveler with any other off-field Electro applicator to provide buffs and energy to the rest of the team.
There are numerous ways to build Alhaitham-centric teams, which highlights his flexibility. His incredible damage output and elemental application makes him a top-tier unit in Genshin Impact.
