There are literally a lot of Nicholas Sparks movies out there that you must watch. The 2000s have been filled with tons of romantic movies based on the beloved novels of famous author Nicholas Sparks.

Unfortunately, although Tom Hansen (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and Summer Finn (Zooey Deschanel) fell in love with each other, the relationship between the two was not a happily forever after. Despite that, 500 Days of Summer is still a great movie for young couples. Even your boyfriend would definitely like this one!
8. 50 First Dates (2004)
Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore made some of the most notable rom-com films ever. The two have paired up in a number of projects like The Wedding Singer, Blended, and Isn’t It Romantic, but their best movie is probably … 50 First Dates.
Known for his goofy personality and comedic persona, Adam Sandler stars as a womanizer named Henry Roth. When the playboy found Lucy (Drew Barrymore), Henry never stopped in his pursuit to make the woman of her dreams fall in love with him. However, Lucy is not your typical girl. She has had a condition where she can’t create any more memories. Truly, this is one of the most remarkable Adam Sandler movies up to this day.

7. Love, Simon (2018)
The titular character, Simon (Nick Robinson), proved to everyone that life isn’t always butterflies and flowers.
When Simon thought he had a normal life, things come to a full twist when he found it that he’s gay. The 17-year-old hasn’t told his family of his sexuality yet, and everything becomes super complicated when he falls in love with an anonymous person online. 2018 award-winning comedy-drama flic “Love, Simon” showed that “going out” is terrifying, but at the same time wonderful and life-changing.
6. Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan Rom-Com movies (Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail)
Only real ones would know that Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan created one of the most fantastic movie couples in the ’90s.
If you haven’t seen at least one of the two movies they made, it’s extremely recommendable you take a look at it now. Tom Hanks movies are always a sure hit and pairing him up with ’90s star Meg Ryan is nothing short of spectacular.

5. “Before” Trilogy (Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Before Midnight)
Admit it, you saw at least one of these movies, didn’t you?
Starring award-winning actor Ethan Hawke and actress Julie Delpy, the “Before” trilogy taught everyone what waiting for the perfect love really means. Not only that, this series also showed the reality of being in love and the things that come along with it – misunderstandings, fights, difficulties, and everything else. All of these made this trilogy so good that it’s one of the classics movie lovers always come back to from time to time.
4. The Holiday (2006)
Probably the most star-studded rom-com movie that has positive reviews (sorry Love, Actually), Kate Winslet, Jack Black, Cameron Diaz, and Jude Law surprisingly brought something to the table – amazing chemistry.
It’s one of those movies that you feel great watching, something we all want during our night on Valentine’s day.

3. Silver Linings Playbook (2012)
Based on Mattew Quick’s debut novel of the same name comes the perfect team-up of Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. Spoiler alert, this is not your typical love story where a guy sweeps the lady off his feet and they live happily ever after.
In Silver Linings Playbook, that’s not always the case. Featuring two of the best actors of our generation, Lawrence and Cooper were at their best in this movie. Two of the most problematic people in the same town meet each other. What seemed to be a catastrophe turned out to be the best moment of their lives.
2. You People (2023)
Featuring an ensemble of actors such as Eddie Murphy, Lauren London, and the co-writer himself, Jonah Hill, You People is the perfect movie, not just for Valentine’s, but also for your daily dose of feel-good films.
The interracial couple Ezra (Jonah Hill) and Amira (Lauren London) along with their families try to cope with modern love despite cultural differences, societal expectations, and generational conundrums.
1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004)
If you are heartbroken and feeling lost, then this might just be the perfect movie for you. We all knew how great of an actress Kate Winslet is, but who knew that the comedian Jim Carrey had a serious side in him?
Though Carrey has been known for his comic appearance and joyful personality, he did an amazing in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. After a devastating breakup, Clementine (Kate Winslet) underwent an experiment to erase all of her memories about his ex-boyfriend, Joel (Jim Carrey). It’s also great for lovebirds to watch this film though.
