Who is Rashid, the newest character in Street Fighter 6?
Rashid sweeps every opponent aside with an arsenal of moves that will send his opponents flying through each battle. He made his initial appearance in Street Fighter V and was introduced as the series’ main protagonist.

- Rashid is a quick fighter that performs acrobatic kicks, similar to Hokuto, and can use several of his special attacks to produce tornadoes similar to Cody’s Criminal Upper.
- In a new trailer released by the developers, they confirmed Rashid coming to Street Fighter 6 later this year.
How to unlock Rashid in Street Fighter 6?
- Players with the Year 1 Character Pass will be able to unlock and play as Rashid on his release date. Additionally, this refers to any owner of the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition. If you don’t have either, use one Rental Fighter ticket from the Fighting Pass to test Rashid out for free for an hour.
- No official confirmation has yet been made for the players without the premium editions. However, we believe the character will be unlockable by using the in-game currency.
Street Fighter 6: Rashid Release date
In an official trailer posted on Youtube about Rashid’s moveset, CAPCOM confirmed this fiery character being included in the arsenal of characters in Street Fighter 6 on July 24, 2023.
‘Rashid Arrives!’ Battle Pass – Rewards and How to Get
The pass is already available and will remain so until July 23. The “Rashid Arrives” pass is the same price as the “Early Summer Vibes” pass, with both being priced at 250 Fight Coins or $5.
