Watch Out For Shockwaves
- One of the Legion’s most dangerous moves is its shockwave attack. A large, red wave of energy radiates out from the boss, dealing heavy damage if it connects. More importantly, shockwaves signal that the Legion is about to resurrect a wave of enemies in the arena.
- Stay mobile and be ready to dodge when you see a shockwave coming. Timing your dodge roll just right will let you completely avoid damage. Shockwaves pass through walls and pillars though, so don’t think you can hide from them completely.

Aim For The Glowing Weak Points
- Trying to damage the Legion directly is pointless – it’s immune to shots. Instead, focus fire on the glowing red weak orbs floating around it. These orbs are vulnerable when they light up, so wait until you see that telltale glow before unloading your clips.
- The orbs only remain vulnerable for a few seconds, so make every shot count. High-fire rate weapons like submachine guns are handy for exploiting these brief openings.

Watch The Floor
- Some of the Legion’s spawns crawl along the ground in hard-to-see blobs. Keep a close eye on the floor near you so you don’t get surprised. These ground-hugging nasties can swarm you in seconds if you don’t spot them coming.
- When you see one making a beeline towards you, hit it with a quick burst from your sidearm. Don’t let these squishy-looking spawns overwhelm you through sheer numbers.

Time Your Dodges
- The Legion’s most devastating attack is the faster version of its shockwave. Aftershocks deal massive damage, so properly timing your dodge roll is critical. When you hear the audio cue that one is coming, be ready to dodge the moment it appears.
- Ideally, you want to roll right through the aftershock’s leading edge. This avoids damage while leaving you close to the boss for potential counterattacks. Mistiming the dodge is far less punishing than not dodging at all.

Keep Moving
- Between dodging shockwaves, killing adds, and avoiding Madness buildup, standing still against the Legion means a quick death. Keep moving at all times during the fight for the best results. Strafing side to side while firing lets you both dish out pain and avoid incoming attacks.
